Photo: Jon Jones mugshot after being arrested for DUI

Here is the picture of UFC champion Jon Jones when he took a mugshot after being arrested a few weeks ago for DUI.

Jones had two female passengers in his Bentley when Jones crashed into a pole.

The UFC champ will be sentenced on June 19.

Jones' adversary, Rashad Evans, told the fans and MMA Media that Jones is not who he tries to portray himself to be and now it appears that Evans was not lying.

Jones had a clean-cut image before this incident took place and Jones always talked about how he lived a clean lifestyle.

This has not been a good few weeks for the UFC as their light heavyweight champion got arrested for DUI and their most popular ring girl, Arianny Celeste, was arrested for domestic violence.

Video: Arianny Celeste says she does not have a boyfriend

UFC Octagon Girl Arianny Celeste and her boyfriend Praveen Chandra were arrested for domestic violence last week in Las Vegas. Her mugshot can be seen here.

Who knew that Celeste had a boyfriend? In this video below at the 7:20 mark, the Swedish interviewer asks Celeste if she has a boyfriend and she says she does not and that she is currently taking applications.

I was quite disappointed to find out that she had a boyfriend since I thought I had a chance. Well maybe I do now since things aren't going well with her current or ex-boyfriend.

Terry Francona reportedly sent a shirtless picture to a 27-year-old woman

According to this Deadspin.com article, former Boston Red Sox manager and current ESPN employee Terry Francona sent a shirtless picture of himself to a 27-year-old woman from Arizona.

Deadspin said they got the picture and info about this from the woman's boyfriend. The boyfriend apparently is very angry that the 53-year-old Francona is trying to holler at his woman.

The article by Deadspin also states that the woman had sent Francona a picture of her bra which also shows a lot of her cleavage.

Francona and the woman also have exchanged text messages.

A lot of men think that their girlfriends would not be attracted to older men such as Francona but the reality is that a lot of women are attracted to older rich men and would not mind sleeping with them at all.

I've talked to a lot of women in their 20s who told me that they would date or sleep a man that is 30 years older than them.

What we always forget sometimes is that while men are attracted to a woman's looks, a lot of women care more about a man's status and personality more than their physical appearance.

Will Francona face any repercussions from ESPN for sending a shirtless picture to a woman? I doubt it although the media will have a field day with this.

Although some people might find it disgusting that he is trying to flirt with a woman much younger than him, it is not a crime.

According to this Las Vegas Sun article,  UFC Octagon Girl Arianny Celeste was arrested on Saturday morning at the Wynn Resorts along with her boyfriend, Praveen Chandra.

Celeste is accused of kicking Chandra in the nose while riding in a limo and then throwing two vases at him at their Wynn hotel room.

The UFC Octagon Girl said that Chandra choked her and grabbed her right arm during their argument.

A lot of MMA fans had no idea that Celeste was so feisty since she seems real sweet in front of the cameras.

Celeste must have been watching a lot of Cung Le or Anderson Silva highlights since they both are known for highlight-reel kicks.

Most fans also did not know that the 26-year-old beauty even had a boyfriend. Celeste never made any mention of having a boyfriend in most of her recent  interviews.

Both Celeste and Chandra have to show up in court this Friday for a hearing.

Kobe Bryant goes "Face to Face" with Hannah Storm

Hannah Storm of ESPN did an in-depth interview with Kobe Bryant which was featured on a show called "Face to Face."

In the interview, Storm asked Bryant about his early days as a teenager playing for the Lakers, his crazy work ethic, and helping the homeless near the STAPLES Center.

Bryant also talked about how when he was a kid in Philly, he would play pick-up ball all summer and score no points. Bryant said, "I'm like getting crushed out here. It was embarrassing for my father because my father was a Philly legend."

The Lakers superstar said that he developed his fierce will to win from his mother. Bryant said his mother was always the feisty and competitive one while his father was happy-go-lucky.

As for all his injuries, Bryant said he ignores them. Bryant said pain and struggle can be enjoyable at times since it is just another challenge.

In big games, Bryant prefers to be sick or injured because it slows the game down. He said he doesn't try to do too much and just keeps things simple when he is sick or injured.

Storm also asked Bryant about his passion for the game. Bryant said he didn't know he had a crazy work ethic until he found out other players in the NBA didn't stay in the gym or take as many shots in the summer as him.

Bryant admitted that 16 years in the NBA is a long time to be playing and he doesn't know if he will lose his passion for the game first or will the young guys "run me out the gym to the point they just beat me to submission."

The full video of Storm's interview with Bryant is below.

Barry Bonds talks about the Hall of Fame and his court case

Barry Bonds showed up at AT&T Park on Memorial Day and watched the San Francisco Giants beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 4-2.

Bonds talked to the media for about 30 minutes and said he is doing good even though he has had two surgeries this month. Bonds said that he had surgery on his back and hip, and that he had some great doctors.

Giants President Larry Baer talked to Bonds at the ballpark about a job in the organization.

The former Giant also said that he wants to join the Giants and help out the current players as well as the minor leaguers in the Giants' farm system. The former slugger said he is proud of Matt Cain and hopes Brian Wilson comes back stronger.

As fo being inducted into the Hall of Fame,  Bonds said, "I have no idea. That's up to the writers. I don't worry about that stuff. I'll be at home having a good time with my kids or  hopefully here doing some stuff for other kids. That'll take care of itself. I don't need to worry about that stuff.

"You guys know me. I don't try to predict the future or analyze how other people are thinking or how it's going to turn out. It would be very sad if it didn't happen. That's why I don't need to comment on it. There's really no need."

When asked about his court case, Bonds said, "I'm a convicted felon of obstruction of justice and that's what I am. I live with it. I was never convicted of steroids."

Bonds said he still works out every single day and that he will die training. He is currently around 215 pounds and he said his playing weight was  never over 238 pounds.

His hobbies now include cycling, running, and watching the Giants.

The Giants should definitely have Bonds rejoin the organization as a roving instructor. He would  be a huge  asset to all the hitters in the organization and can offer them lots of tips and lessons.

When Bonds showed up a few years ago in the Giants' clubhouse before a game and started to talk about hitting, former Giants outfielder Cody Ross said all the hitters were listening to him closely like he was Gandhi.

Below is a video of Bonds' 756th homer and a video from "Barry Bonds Day" in San Francisco.

Strikeforce champion Gilbert "El Nino" Melendez talks about his May 19 fight in San Jose

Strikeforce lightweight champion Gilbert "El Nino" Melendez was on the Chronicle Live sports talk show today and talked about his upcoming May 19 title fight against Josh "The Punk" Thomson.

Melendez took a page from UFC fighter Rashad Evans and wore a suit to the Chronicle Live studio.

El Nino talked about how it is hard to get up for another fight with Thomson as well as plugging his gym which is located in San Francisco.

When the host, Dave Benz, asked Melendez if he thinks it would be in his best interest to lose the fight to Thomson so he could possibly end up in the UFC, Melendez said losing is not in his nature but if he did lose, he would want to try to utilize the loss any way he could.

If Melendez does lose to Thomson on May 19, the UFC probably would not want him though and his value would definitely go down.

Mariano Rivera of the New York Yankees hurts his knee shagging fly balls

This video is tough to watch as New York Yankees closer Mariano Rivera hurts his knee shagging fly balls before the game tonight vs. the Royals. Rivera apparently tore his ACL and is probably out for the year now.

The San Francisco Giants are in big trouble without Pablo Sandoval

It is no fun to be a San Francisco Giants fan right now. The team is in fourth place in the NL West and just got swept by the Miami Marlins.

Pablo Sandoval is out with a left hand injury and will be gone for about six weeks. His replacement is Conor Gillaspie.

Gillaspie appears to be nothing more than a singles hitter and that is not good.

Brian Wilson is out for the year and Freddy Sanchez keeps on having setbacks while rehabbing his shoulder injury.

There's not a lot out there in the trade market right now so the Giants are stuck with what they have.

The Giants got rid of Mike Fontenot and Jeff Keppinger and are stuck with infielders like Ryan Theriot, Manny Burriss, and Brandon Crawford.

Crawford was supposed to be great on defense but he keeps hurting the team with his critical errors at shortstop. He had two bad errors today in the 3-2 loss vs. the Marlins this afternoon.

The G-men don't have a wide margin for error and the mistakes by Crawford on the field are unacceptable. Crawford gives the offense absolutely nothing so the only way he will continue to get starts is due to his glove.

Being five games back in early May is not bad but when the Panda comes back, how many games will they be back of first place?

The starting pitching has been solid but the starters can't go all nine innings in every game. Why pay Matt Cain all that money when you need some more power in your offense?

Tim Lincecum has struggled all season and has a 5.74 ERA coming into Friday's game vs. the Brewers. He most likely will be in for another rough outing Friday night when Ryan Braun and gang comes to town.

Opposing teams will now focus on Buster Posey and Melky Cabrera since the Panda is out. The good news is that Aubrey Huff will return on Monday.

The Giants need to play Huff at third, put Posey at first, and have Hector Sanchez behind the plate in order to get their best hitters in the lineup.

Gregor Blanco has been playing well of late but the Giants would have been better off with signing Jerry Hairston Jr. in the offseason. Hairston Jr. signed with the Dodgers.

It's no fun going to the ballpark and watching a pathetic offense night in and night out. It gets very frustrating.

The 2011 offense was horrendous and even the 2010 World Series team wasn't that great on offense. The 2010 team was lucky to get into the playoffs and got hot at the right time.

The Giants won't be getting any outside help right now to bolster their woeful offense so they must try to get the bats going with their current roster.

Can they do it? Probably not. Unless Huff turns back the clock and Gillaspie surprises everyone, it will be up to Cain and Madison Bumgarner to shutout teams every fifth day in order for the Giants to win.

It seems like this season is lost before it ever got started.
